I just watched your author video on Amazon. Well done. Thanks for doing that. It gave me some ideas for doing mine.

Now I just have to find someone who will video tape me. Everyone I know would probably swing the camera back and forth rapidly, cut off my head, and loudly give me stage directions while I’m talking. I guess I could do it by myself with a tripod, but then I’m afraid my video would make me look like a terrorist calling for death to illiterate infidels.

Incidentally, excellent bookstore, Davis-Kidd. Probably my favorite–well, their Memphis location for sure. I’m sorry I won’t be there when you speak in Feb. I’m almost tempted to fly down there for it. My other favorite bookstore–I have many–is Lemuria Books in Jackson, Miss. If you’re trying to work the mid-south, you might see if they will book you. Actually, they’re pretty easy about it. They have a great setup and promote authors well there. So, you’ll get a good turn out. Plus, if you arrive early you can spend an hour or so getting lost in their bookstore. Good luck.

I loved this book! I read it in two days and laughed out loud repeatedly. I met Maria Murnane at an event for my graduate school, and I could picture her as the main character Waverly. Waverly and her friends have a lot of embarrassing stories about dating and single life that made them feel like real people. If you want a fun, hilarious and heartfelt story that’s focused on someone you could see as your friend, you’ll enjoy this. It’s especially good if you’ve going through a breakup or have recently been dumped.

A terrific read–made me laugh out loud! I couldn’t get enough of it–hated it to end! When’s the sequel? Waverly is adorable!

Hello gals! This book is one of the books that once you start it, you do not want to let go of it! It’s a great book to read if you want to get away for a while and cruise with Waverly Bryson’s fun adventures! i love this book! can’t wait for the next one!

I’m one of the DGs that you met with last week in DC. I just finished your book (literally this minute) and I had to immediately write you and tell you how much I enjoyed it! It really is a fun and entertaining read and I wish you all the best. Those publishers that turned you down were crazy! They’re going to be kicking themselves!
