Want to learn how to get published?
Over the past couple years I’ve been asked “How did you get published?” so many times that I’ve finally decided to put everything I’ve learned about book writing, publishing and marketing into formal (yet fun) online presentations for aspiring authors… AKA webinars! Here’s a description of the first one:
Want to get a book published but have no idea where to begin? Whether you’re halfway through a novel or have a great idea for a work of non-fiction, making it happen may seem too intimidating, too challenging, or simply impossible. But the reality is that if you do nothing, then nothing will happen. If you give up on your dream, how will you feel about that in five, 10, 20 years?
In this webinar, aspiring authors in all genres will learn that rejection doesn’t mean the end of the road if you’re willing to do what it takes. Award-winning author Maria Murnane, who took her novel Perfect on Paper from self-published to traditionally published through creativity and sheer perseverance, will explain how both publishing routes work. Drawing upon her first-hand experience, she’ll cover the pros and cons of each to help you weigh them against your goals. She’ll also answer audience questions and offer tips for how to get that first manuscript completed!
In this 70-minute session, you will learn how to:
- Decide which publishing route is best for you so you can get moving quickly
- Get literary agents to evaluate your work—instead of tossing it in the circular file
- Ask the right questions of potential partners and vendors
- Avoid mistakes that will cost you time, money and readers
- Have fun and enjoy the process!
I hope you will check it out — and please send the registration link to anyone you know who has ever dreamed of becoming an author!
